It is great to finally see the Eames shell chairs available as a high stool that can sit alongside the super comfortable shell dining chairs. Its geometry is modified to accommodate the altered distribution of forces in the higher seating positions, while a footrest ensures comfort and safety.
The Eames Plastic Stools RE, Fiberglass Stools and Wire Stools all come in a choice of two different heights: Medium (for approx 90cm high kitchen counters) and High (for approx 100cm high counters).
The base is either chrome-plated or black powder-coated, with the black version also being suitable for outdoor use (for both the Plastic RE and Wire shells, but not the fiberglass versions of the stools).
